Predicting Emergency Care Needs with AI
Sanius Health uses advanced insights to identify and highlight to patients and clinicians the risk of emerging crises outside of care settings. This data-driven support leads to improved patient outcomes as well as reducing demand on A&E, streamlining discharge processes, lowering admissions and cutting length of stay overall. This has allowed healthcare organisations to innovate ways to avert crises, meet demand, identify cost-saving opportunities and drivers for change while working towards long-term sustainability goals.

Sanius Health excels in three main areas for patients, health systems & pharma.
● Sanius Health as the solution
1. For Patients / Sanius brings together medical, wearable, genomics and outcomes data with AI models and human support to empower patients, improve outcomes, and enable better living.
2. For Health Systems and Clinicians / Our work across 65 NHS trusts has reduced costs and improved results. We replicate this by supporting targeted groups digitally with personalised medicine. Clinicians use our ecosystem to monitor patients outside of the hospital setting, allowing them to gain better insight to the patient experience. All while accelerating research.
3. For Pharma / We address this massive gap through growing, mining and maintaining a living patient-driven data bank of the deepest and most comprehensive datasets to answer 99% of questions pharma need to answer.

My watch shows different activity levels compared to my phone – why is this happening?
Your Subtitle Goes Here
The number of steps may be higher on your smartphone because the data processing method is different from the ScanWatch. It is expected behaviour for the phone to have greater step count.
The ScanWatch aims to be as close as possible to the number of steps you actually take by reducing the detection of false steps. As such, it is possible that other step trackers may result in a different step count than your ScanWatch.
I’ve reached a certain number of points, when will I get my reward?
Your Subtitle Goes Here
First of all, we want to say a massive congratulations on earning your points! We appreciate the time and effort you put in to update your health outcomes on the Sanius platform on a regular basis. Please allow up to 21 working days for your reward to be processed and the relevant voucher to be issued to you.
ScanWatch - My distance doesn't seem accurate. What should I do?
Your Subtitle Goes Here
The distance is calculated using the height, weight, age, and gender information that you provided to us when you set up your Withings account, as well as the number of steps that you have taken. If the distance displayed in the app doesn’t seem accurate, please check that the height you’ve entered in your profile is correct.
I have signed up, but I do not have access to the app, how long is this meant to take?
Your Subtitle Goes Here
Please ensure you have filled out the SAR form sent to your inbox to complete your registration. Once completed, we expect to have your application processed in 3 days, if after 3 days you do not have access, please email us at [email protected]
How is my data used?
Your Subtitle Goes Here
We only use de-identified data for clinical research, but NEVER for a single patient. The data is normally grouped to answer questions like: ‘How many hospital admissions have patients had?’ which we get from NHS data and already have access to through NHS Digital and Hospital Episode Statistics (HES). We blend this with other de-identified data from the programme to answer research questions that help patients with new therapies, or to ensure therapies are working as they should be.
The steps tracked by my ScanWatch don't match the steps of another person with a watch when walking the same distance
Your Subtitle Goes Here
Everyone has a different stride length: two people can walk the same distance, but it may take them a different number of steps to cover that same distance. This may explain the difference between the number of steps between two users. We incorporate the height and gender you have entered in the Withings App when calculating your stride length.
I can get my records from the NHS, so what’s the difference?
Your Subtitle Goes Here
The NHS provides valuable medical care, but there are limitations to relying solely on NHS records for managing your health. Sanius offers a more comprehensive view by integrating data from multiple sources beyond just periodic GP visits.
With Sanius you get a fuller picture of your health through access to hospital records, home biometrics, advanced testing, and coaching insights. This allows more personalised guidance and proactive health management.
You deserve to understand and benefit from the breadth of health data you generate, not just the fragments captured in NHS reports. Sanius empowers you with your complete health story so you can make the most informed decisions.
Fostering a Brighter Future
Patients often struggle with symptom management and may lack guidance for improving their well-being while dealing with chronic conditions – often, generic online advice from providers isn’t always sufficient. Sanius Health offers personalised predictions, instant access to medical history, and a user-friendly app for recording well-being and real-time biometric tracking on smartphones. This provides valuable insights into daily life for those living with a chronic condition.
